8/8/99
- The Fastbacks are scheduled to play a show on August 21 at the Crocodile. It will be the farewell show for Faster Tiger, so the Fastbacks will be playing second out of three.
- CORRECTION: New Fastbacks record to be released in mid-October on Spin Art Records. Tentative album title is: The Day That Didn't Exist.
- Hit List issue 3 features part three of the Fastbacks history article. I just finished Part 4 (final installment) and it should appear in Hit List 4 which should be out in a couple of months.
- I will be posting a complete track listing for the new Fastbacks record very soon. I may also be posting a special 'preview' MP3 of one of the songs.
- Kurt has just wrapped up a very busy stretch of summer production work with the Supersuckers, Zeke (mix only), Nashville Pussy, and the Smugglers.
- Updated the fan favorites section. K Street is the clear leader!

- Updated the timeline for the shows played this year.
- New Fastbacks record to be released in mid-September.
- Check out the last two issues of Hit List magazine (actually, their only two issues). Both issues chronicle the Fastbacks from their inception. I will probably be posting the article on this site sometime later this year. I still need to finish it! It will probably be featured in 4 parts total.
- The Marshall Artist record got re-released by the Cold Front label out of Berkeley. Look for it in a store near you, or you can order it through the net at CD-Now or Amazon.com. Thanks Brett! The re-release features complete lyrics and all new artwork.
